WE WORK WITH SCHOOLS ACROSS AUSTRALIA TO HELP STUDENTS DEVELOP ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL LITERACY

Echo partners with regional Australian schools to promote economic and financial literacy through workshops and conferences.

Echo Workshops

Our workshops are designed to bridge the gap between young Australians and economic and financial concepts by making them engaging and relevant for students. They are designed by a State-Ranking team and reviewed by Professor Gigi Foster, Senior Lecturer Jay Lee,  Andrew Lyons, Johnathan McMenamin and Francis George.

Our workshops identify the basic economic & financial concepts underlying everyday events that are relevant and relatable to students
Our young university students present these concepts into digestible content in an engaging manner
We use real world examples to help students practically apply the economic and financial concepts

“I wasn’t interested in this subject but now I like it. I learnt helpful tips and it encouraged me to choose Commerce next year as an elective”

Daniel, Past Echo Student
Year 8, Cambridge Park High School

REGIONAL CONFERENCES

Our regional conferences are held annually and are designed to be a bridge between Sydney and regional and rural Australia.

We invite local schools around regional Australia to a one-day conference that consists of university students and professionals from Sydney sharing their experiences with economics and finance in the tertiary education and professional spheres.

By empowering regional and rural students with such insights and connections, we hope to support their pursuits of studying and working in the fields of economics and finance.
